Seed Bowls

The art of copperwork begins with a simple gesture: the hammer meeting the sheet. From that repeated motion the form emerges, shaped by hand and guided by intention.

We began by asking how to give value and weight to something so inherently flat. The answer came through layering – creating a double-walled form where the inner void suggests fullness, presence, and weight. Jurgen Cramer’s delicate surface textures breathe life into the bowls, making each one feel both ancient and newly born – like seeds, holding more than they reveal.
