Micro Palm Jewel Case

We found inspiration in museum pieces that reflect a meticulous and delicate tradition, where even the finest strands of palm are woven with remarkable care and precision.

Embracing this spirit, we invited artisan Sónia Mendez to explore and expand the boundaries of her craft. With dedication and a sense of adventure, she crafted this micro-woven palm jewel cases – tiny containers for precious objects, made with extraordinary skill.

Their forms echo the Arab-influenced chimneys of the Algarve, reimagined in a refined and simplified way that highlights the quiet beauty of the craftsmanship.
