Hugo da Silva was given creative freedom to transform the blank canvas of this one-bedroom new build apartment in London into an eclectic living space that oozes character and colourful flair. The bold selection of bespoke elements such as contemporary furnishings and fittings have been mixed with pieces that are reminiscent of classic seventies’ vintage design. Pendant lights and furniture have been thoughtfully placed to break up the open-living plan area into more functional spaces that provide a sense of stylish comfort and intimacy.
The client’s interest in street art has taken central stage in this interior conversion with several wall displays and shelves installed to accommodate the growing collection. The eclectic interior palette of hues takes its cue from the striking artwork on display to enhance the seamless integration of visual elements. This interplay with the warmth of soft shades creates a continuity of ambiance that leads naturally to the outdoor patio space affording spectacular East London skyline views.
