For this bespoke warehouse conversion in Wapping, London, Hugo da Silva Design Studio transformed the first floor to reflect the client’s lifestyle. Separate lobby, lounge and kitchen areas were opened out to allow a greater connection between the spaces for functional and leisurely living. To create a sense of intimacy, contemporary lighting fixtures drop the ceilings and bold furniture statements fashioned out of solid wood with warm-coloured upholstery make a mature statement. Soft coloured linen fabrics complement the fresh and breezy ambience by framing the natural light flooding in through the industrial floor-to-ceiling windows, effortlessly bridging the interior with the outside world.
