Hugo da Silva was commissioned to refurbish the public spaces to create an experience that’s every bit as reinvigorating as the surrounding landscape. The interior design captures a sense of openness with a feeling of intimacy throughout the eclectic mix of century-old and contemporary furnishings. A playful mix of intense colours and warm textures or fabrics frame each corner to evoke a sense of discovery and comfort.
The transformation of the lounge space was conceived to incorporate a new glass balustrade that heightens the richness of the coastal setting. A creative collaboration with sound engineers adds an exciting element with a dedicated DJ booth and professional sound system that blends elegantly into this refreshingly relaxed hotel overlooking the dramatic Cornish coastline.
